I've found a lot of articles during my job search these last couple of months and I thought I would share some of them to anyone who might be in the same situation as I am (and looking at numbers online, it seems like a lot of us are here).
Ask a Manager.org
This one is great for even those lucky enough to have a job. It's a blog by Alison Green, who was a manager for a medium-sized company when she started the blog, and is now an independent consultant for businesses. She even has a book published. Many people write in to her blog and she posts answers. There are posts ranging from students asking about internships, to interviewing tips, and even as far as dealing with co-workers and management issues. You can find her blog at www.askamanager.org .
US News (On Careers)
Another useful selection of articles is on the US News website. I found this one through Ask a Manager, many of Ms. Green's posts articles are re-posted on this page along with a lot of other really great writers' who are in similar fields. A quick link to this website is: http://money.usnews.com/money/blogs/outside-voices-careers .
US Bureau of Labor Statistics
The last really good resource I've been using is the Labor Statistics information available online. It has great resources available for salary and employment numbers.
If you know of any other great websites or resources for anyone looking for work, please post in the comments!
